Summary:
The hotly anticipated conclusion to the Royals series begun in the #1 New York Times bestselling novels Paper Princess and Broken Prince.

These Royals will ruin you…

From mortal enemies to unexpected allies, two teenagers try to protect everything that matters most.

Ella Harper has met every challenge that life has thrown her way. She’s tough, resilient, and willing to do whatever it takes to defend the people she loves, but the challenge of a long-lost father and a boyfriend whose life is on the line might be too much for even Ella to overcome.

Reed Royal has a quick temper and even faster fists. But his tendency to meet every obstacle with violence has finally caught up with him. If he wants to save himself and the girl he loves, he’ll need to rise above his tortured past and tarnished reputation.

No one believes Ella can survive the Royals. Everyone is sure Reed will destroy them all.

They may be right.

With everything and everyone conspiring to keep them apart, Ella and Reed must find a way to beat the law, save their families, and unravel all the secrets in their Twisted Palace.
MY REVIEW:
Ah, finally! The ending to Reed and Ella's story. This is one series that I binge read books one and two and then had to wait, not so patiently, for book three. It did not disappoint!

So....what to say without giving away too much...this is one time where the Goodreads summary is pretty vague and lets the reader discover the details themselves. So I won't spoil anything for you. If you're new to the series it's about a girl named Ella who was raised by a single parent...and a mom that stripped to make money to provide for them. She didn't go without necessarily but they just barely got by and were never really in a good situation. When her mom dies from cancer Ella has to work two jobs to take care of herself, and go to school. So she turns to stripping also at the age of 15, passing for a much older woman. Until she is found by a man who claims to have been the best friend of her father and basically forces her to go with him. His world is one of money and power and she's finally given a home and a family....although it takes awhile for it to feel that way. This part of the story throws a major wrench in the lives of the Royals as one of their own is accused of a crime he didn't commit. But sometimes the "evidence" appears more than what it actually is, and in the eyes of the law, the case is sealed. Ella is not ready to give up though.

If you are new to this series and love contemporary romance then you MUST check it out! The series is listed as Young Adult and I guess since the characters are all in high school that makes sense....but they behave much older than they are and the content is graphic at times. The steam factor amps up quite a bit in this last book.

Check out my review for books one and two:
Paper Princess (4.5 stars)
Broken Prince (4 stars)

If you're like me and sad that the series is over...you'll be excited to know that the authors (Jen Fredrick and Elle Kennedy) have announced they are going to write a book about Easton (the next oldest Royal brother) (squeal!!!) but it won't be part of the same series.

Top Favorite Quotes:
"I'm a Royal, baby. I don't run. I fight."

She got under my skin the moment I met her, and she's still there, in my blood, in my heart.

Reed's not the destroyer. He's never destroyed anything in his life; he's always been the protector...
